All forms of Siri are not created equal. While Apple’s AI assistant is available on no less than six different devices—iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, Macs, and now, HomePod—its capabilities aren’t the same on each. Rather than give Siri the same brain everywhere, Apple has tailored Siri’s smarts to the device you’re using, so the answers you get will be different depending on what device you’re using—and in some cases there are surprising and frustrating limitations.
