Always-On Data now available on Verizon prepaid plans

From a new phone for MetroPCS to a BOGO deal at AT&T, there have been plenty of developments in the prepaid world today. They continue with an announcement from Verizon that it has extended a feature newly available to some of its postpaid customers over to most of its prepaid customers.

But, instead of “Safety Mode,” the Checkmark has decided to go with “Always-On Data”. It’s a feature that throttles customers’ data speeds down from LTE speeds to 128kbps when they kick their high speed bucket for the cycle.
