For a fledgling, immature, and extremely experimental market, the virtual reality universe is about to get a little too crowded for its own good, with options ranging from your rudimentary Google Cardboard and Samsung Gear VR to the much fancier Oculus Rift and HTC Vive soon.
We shouldn’t forget about Microsoft HoloLens either, which is technically an AR (augmented reality) product, while Apple and Google are themselves rumored to be working hard on high-profile virtual reality headsets capable of pairing up with iPhones and Nexus handhelds.
