Nokia 7 Plus may be the next to receive Android 9.0 Pie update

Google announced earlier this week that all devices from third-party handset makers enrolled in the official Android 9.0 Pie beta program will receive the update soon after the Pixels. Since the Essential Phone has already received the update, the only ones remaining are the Sony Xperia XZ2, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S, Nokia 7 Plus, Oppo R15 Pro, Vivo X21, and OnePlus 6.

Today, we’ve learned that Nokia 7 Plus might be the second third-party smartphone to get the Android 9.0 Pie update. Apparently, users in India are the first that discovered their Nokia 7 Plus phones are eligible for the upgrade, but if that’s true, the update will slowly roll out globally.
