Microsoft made a lot of big promises when it introduced Windows 10 last year, but its ability to follow through on them all has proved to be a bit of a mixed bag. And while Microsoft once told us to look for Edge getting its extensions later in 2015, by fall it was clear that even that target would be missed, and extensions wouldn’t be ready until 2016. With the new year upon us, when can we expect to get them? According to at least one source, Edge extensions could arrive in the very next Insider release.
