Microsoft lets you use Android apps on Windows 10

September 16, 2020

Microsoft has been improving its Your Phone companion app heavily in the past months. The company first tested screen mirroring between Android and Windows 10 back in March 2019. Later last year, Microsoft added the ability to view Android phone notifications on a Windows 10 PC in real-time. Now it’s time for the next step – Microsoft is rolling out the Apps feature, and it will be available for supported smartphones in the next 48 hours.

The Apps feature lets you instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your PC. You can then pin them to the Start Menu, add them as favorites, and launch them alongside native Windows 10 apps.
