Samsung has quite an extensive portfolio of smartphones covering all price ranges. There’s the flagship Galaxy S and Note series, the mid-range A series, and the budget J, C, and On lineup. This may change in 2019, however, with the introduction of the Galaxy M lineup, which could serve as a unified takeover of the company’s affordable offerings.
Still, Samsung has not forgotten about its recent A-series entries and has announced Android Pie support for the Galaxy A8/A8+ (2018), and the Galaxy A9 (2018). All models have received certifications by the Wi-Fi Alliance, SamMobile reports, with Android 9.0 expected to arrive sometime in April.
