On April 23rd at 2pm local time in New Delhi, Xiaomi is expected to make its first new product announcement outside of China. All indications are that the company will unveil a global version of the flagship Xiaomi Mi 4 on that date. Called the Xiaomi Mi 4i, this handset is a slightly lower spec’d version of the Mi 4. Xiaomi is calling it a global handset because of the extended 4G LTE network support. Still, it doesn’t mean that this model will be offered in the U.S. or Europe.
