Every year, by the time summer rolls around, we already being flooded with leaks about the upcoming iPhone models. This year is no exception, as we already know about the controversial camera bump redesign that’s going to define the new iPhones, the removal of 3D Touch, and (possibly) the introduction of USB Type-C to Apple’s smartphone lineup.
Apple is expected to keep its lineup intact from last year – comprised of a base, Plus, and R models. The exact naming scheme is still a mystery, with some rumors suggesting XI as the moniker of choice, but seeing as how the iPhone XS was an update to the anniversary model, Apple may very well be done with Roman numerals and return to its traditional naming scheme. For this reason, we are going to stick with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Plus, and iPhone 11R in this article.
