It’s 2021 and, among the very few high-profile phones that we expect in the first half of the year, we have the new OnePlus 9 devices. Rumor has it that we will see three of them — the top-tier OnePlus 9 Pro, the “for-the-people” OnePlus 9, and the “affordable” OnePlus 9E.
So, much like the iPhone 12 is the mainstream iPhone to buy right now, it’s speculated that the OnePlus 9 will be positioned to be the OnePlus to buy. A good balance between price, features, specs, and longevity. Or so we suppose — it might as well turn up to be a stepping stone that has just enough corners cut to push you to buying the 9 Pro instead.
