It’s no longer a big secret that the US mobile 5G landscape is… pretty messy, as the nation’s major wireless service providers are each doing their own thing when it comes to implementing the different flavors of 5G technology, which yields huge disparities in both speeds and coverage from region to region and from carrier to carrier.
While T-Mobile, AT&T, and Verizon are all making decent progress, slowly and gradually expanding the availability of their 5G networks, which in turn is giving average cellular download speeds slow and gradual boosts, the US is still not what we’d call a global 5G leader.
