We have seen a lot of leaks regarding the Sony Xperia Z4, and now it seems we will see the handset later this month when Sony hosts an April 20th press event. However, there is still time for one more piece of information before the big launch, with the latest report suggesting that the Xperia Z4 will feature an all-metal unibody.
Sony has been building its flagships with glass rears, something that company actually pioneered with the original Xperia Z. However, most major manufacturers have now turned to metal as a building material for its flagships, with only LG, Motorola, and of course Sony being the hold outs.
Whether Sony will go the way of Apple and HTC and make the Xperia Z4 entirely metal, or like Samsung with the Galaxy S6 sandwiches its glass panels against a metal frame remains to be seen.
As well as that fresh information about the build of the Z4, the handset seems to also be carrying another feature that is becoming increasingly popular.
