T-Mobile spent nearly $8 billion on 600MHz spectrum in all 50 states, and the magenta carrier has said that it plans to begin deploying those airwaves this year. While we wait for that to happen, T-Mo has shed a bit more light on the 600MHz spectrum transition process.
A new animation shared by T-Mobile details the different phases in which the 600MHz spectrum sold by the TV broadcasters will be transitioned to T-Mobile use. There are 10 phases in total, each with its own deadline date on which the broadcasters must transition their spectrum.
