Dell announced the Cloud Platform System (CPS) Standard, an updated hybrid cloud solution with a smaller cost of entry than the previous version, Cloud Platform System Premium. Breaking many of the barriers preventing companies from realizing their goals to move to hybrid cloud, Dell CPS Standard contains all of the hardware and software required to implement a 100 Virtual Machine (VM) hybrid cloud solution in about three hours.
With the completion of the Dell Global Tech Adoption Survey, trends around hybrid cloud solutions were identified. While nine out of 10 indicate that hybrid cloud is a critical part of their success strategy, only three of those 10 have implemented one. The biggest barriers to implementation are cost and complexity.
