After Samsung and Huawei, it’s time for Apple to make its financial situation public for the third quarter of the year. The Cupertino company made $53.3 billion in revenue, and $11.5 billion in profit. This compares to $45.4 billion in revenue, and $8.72 billion in profit for the same quarter of last year.
Where does the money come from? Mostly from selling 41.3 million iPhones, 11.5 million iPads, and 3.7 million Macs. In Q3 of 2017 the numbers were 41 million iPhones, 11.4 million iPads, and 4.2 million Macs. However, if you look at the table below, you’ll see that Apple grew significantly in the Services (AppleCare, Apple Pay) and other products (AirPods, Apple TV, Apple Watch, Beats, HomePod, iPod, etc.) category.
