Are you a laptop user? Do you wish your web browser wasn’t so power hungry? Then it’s time to ditch Chrome and give Opera’s new battery-boosting feature a try.
In a head-to-head test against Google Chrome, Opera says their browser is already marginally better when it comes to efficiency. On the laptops they tested — a Lenovo ThinkPad X250 and a Dell XPS 13 — Chrome burned the battery up after an hour and 54 minutes. Opera stretched that to an hour and 58 minutes.
