A couple of months back, ZTE said that its Axon 7 smartphone would be updated to Android 7 Nougat this January. Unfortunately, the company is now backtracking on its statement.
According to ZTE Germany (which made the initial statement), the Nougat update is being delayed “a little” because, in its current state, the software on the Axon 7 does not meet “quality requirements.
