Latest beta version of iOS 8.3 allows users to download free apps without typing in their password

As we told you the other day, the latest beta build of iOS 8.3 will let iPhone users turn to Siri when they want to make a call using the iPhone’s speakerphone capabilities. Now comes word that the beta also includes a way for iOS users to more quickly go through the process of downloading  apps from the App Store or iTunes.

Under the heading of “Password Settings” in the iTunes and App Store, users can decide whether they need to enter their password immediately when purchasing a paid app, or after 15 minutes. Another new feature will allow iOS users to download a free app without having to type in their password. This option to streamline the downloading of free apps might not be found in all regions.
