HMD Global, the small, December 2016-founded company behind the unlikely resurgence of the Nokia brand, has been doing a stellar job of keeping its smartphones stable and fresh with fast and smooth software updates.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus is the latest device to receive stable Android 9.0 Pie goodies, according to a tweet posted earlier today by the company’s Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas. HMD’s CPO offers no specifics on the changes delivered by the newest OS build for this relatively modest “notched” handset.
