Microsoft has unveiled updated versions of its MSN universal apps. Originally developed for Windows 10 PC desktop computers, these apps will be available for phones running Windows 10 Mobile. While the content is the same, the display is optimized to fit the smaller screens employed on smartphones. The apps include MSN Sports, MSN News, MSN Weather and MSN Money.
Microsoft expects to start disseminating Windows 10 Mobile later this year to those Windows Phone 8.1 models coming along for the ride. One of the most interesting things about Windows 10 Mobile is Microsoft’s decision to take control of updates away from carriers.
