With exciting new wearables on the horizon like Motorola’s second-gen Moto 360 or Samsung’s first round-screened smartwatch, the model we just saw it confirm as the Gear S2, it’s easy to lose sight of this year’s most successful wearable to date, the Apple Watch.
At least, we’re a couple months removed from the smartwatch’s retail debut at this point, and initial problems with availability have largely found themselves resolved. Back when things got started, Apple attempted to manage demand through a regimented appointment system for try-on demonstrations in its stores.
