Verizon customers, your network is about to get faster.

Verizon today announced LTE Advanced, a network improvement that offers 50 percent faster peak speeds using a technology called carrier aggregation. This tech uses a combination of Verizon’s 700MHz, AWS, and PCS spectrum to offer two and three-carrier aggregation.

Verizon’s standard LTE network offers typical download speeds of 5-12Mbps, but with two-carrier aggregation, you’ll see speeds up to 225Mbps. Three-carrier aggregation goes even father, offering peak speeds up to 300Mbps.

LTE Advanced coverage is available starting today in 461 cities across the U.S. You can find the full list of cities right here.
