From malls to sports stadiums, increasing numbers of venues and businesses now offer Wi-Fi access. Even places like fitness clubs and car dealerships have gotten in on the act. But while I applaud the spread of public Wi-Fi, these connections often come with a cost: tedious logins that ask for too much information.
Some venues demand an email address, while others request a name. Other locations make you identify your age group or occupation.
