Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users on Sprint can now update their devices to the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop. The update also includes a fix that protects the handset from the Stagefright security problem.
The size of the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update bundled with Stagefright patch is 615.69 MB. It installs the N910PVPU4COG5 software version for the SM-N910P variant of the Sprint Galaxy Note 4, Android Police reported.
According to Samsung, the update will install a fix for a problem with the message-waiting indicator along with some miscellaneous patches. But the company did not reveal the exact details of the enhancements that will arrive with the new firmware update.
