Following the update to Hangouts for iOS yesterday, Google today has pushed a new update to Google Photos for iOS. The update brings the app to version 1.12.1 and includes a few useful changes and speed improvements.
First off, Google says the update improves support for burst photos, something the built-in iOS Camera app handles very well. Additionally, the update is said to reduce both battery and cellular data usage. Building on the performance improvements, Google says today’s update also reduces app startup time.
