Starting today, an update to the iOS version of popular third-party QWERTY app SwiftKey, is bringing a theme store and 12 new themes to Apple iPhone users. In addition to the new themes, the update improves the performance of the app and reduces the number of times that SwiftKey is accidentally replaced by the default iOS keyboard.
SwiftKey’s iOS users have been asking for themes and today’s update includes an animated one called Shooting Stars. Featuring a view of the night time sky, the image changes as you move your phone resulting in a cool looking parallax effect. For $1.99, stars can be “dynamically generated” each time the keyboard loads on your device.
