Samsung France is the first to send out Android 5.0.2 to owners of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The update is being made available to those with the Wi-Fi only variant of the slate. The file is said to weigh in at 930MB which means that you might want to be connected to a Wi-Fi network when downloading and installing it. You should also have your battery recharged to at least 50%.
Besides France, there are some owners of the tablet in other areas like the U.S. India, Romania, Poland and Canada who claim that they have been able to update the tablet in the country. While Android 5.1 will take care of issues that pop up with Android 5.0.2, the dreaded memory leak, which has created havoc with a number of Android users, probably won’t be repaired until Android 5.1.1 makes its appearance.
