The Dell Venue 8 7000 is an Intel-powered tablet that’s available in the US right starting at $399. It’s also known as the Dell Venue 8 7840, and it’s the slimmest 8-inch Android tablet around, at just 0.24in (6mm) thin. We have to say, the build quality seems really good! It utilizes premium materials – mostly aluminum, with some plastic elements – thanks to that, the tablet ends up with a lightweight build and a high quality feel.
It’s a specs beast, too! It has an 8.4-inch 1600×2560 OLED panel with a pixel density of 359 pixels per inch. It’s distinctively over-saturated, but the viewing angles are really nice and the screen is crisp.
