Google smiles on Apple users, updates Chrome for iOS with several ultra-handy new features

Several months ago, Google introduced a pretty handy (no pun intended) feature for its Chrome browser that greatly improved single-handed usage – pull-down-to-refresh. Initially, it rolled to Chrome Beta on Android.

The virtual playground for any new features and goodies that eventually make their way to the official app, and the regular Chrome scored the neat feature shortly after. From the looks of it, Mountain View has never intended to keep this goodie exclusive for Android, as it arrived with the most recent update for the iOS version of Chrome (v42.0.2311.47).

Just like a great host of iOS apps, the browser will now reload the page you’re currently on if you pull it down, but that’s not all! The pull-down-to-refresh feature also allows you to close and open tabs – pulling down and left opens a tab, while pulling down and right closes the active tab.
